SEURO shortlisted for 'AI To Achieve Social Good' Award

In November 2023 the SEURO Project was nominated for the AI Awards 2023 in Dublin under the category of ‘Best application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to achieve social good’, along with 3 other top innovative projects. The acknowledgment through such nomination reinforces the substantial value inherent in the research conducted by SEURO. The project team was delighted to participate in the AI Awards 2023 and to be recognized by inspiring professionals actively shaping the future of AI and technology for improved social impact.

The project team initiated the exploration of machine learning and AI for multimorbidity management in 2016 through the ProACT project, and they are currently advancing this journey with their sister project, SEURO. With significant advancements in AI over the last 12 months, exciting developments lie ahead. As part of this journey, the SEURO team has developed 'ProInsight', an artificial intelligence (AI) prediction model designed to assess the impact of a digital solution on health system performance. This assessment tool will encapsulate a new set of analytics for health-based risk stratification and prediction. By combining existing population data with new data arising from SEURO trials, this tool will estimate the future impact of the ProACT platform on healthcare organizations.
